Lately I have been asked by my friends “How many updates did you make in facebook and twitter?” instead of “What did you do today?”. Well well I’m not surprised, in fact I’m happy that they haven’t seen me in the super active stage of using twitter and facebook over a year ago. I think they are thinking I have an alarming frequency social media status updating. As far as I am concerned, my social media activity is down to some 10-20% to what it used to be in last 2009. For me now updates are rare, but in Real Time as it was used to be before…

I will share a conversation happened last Saturday.  My friend said to another friend

“ I will update my facebook status as ‘had an awesome time…’ and Niju will update his status as ‘having an awesome time…’  That is the difference…” .

One more thing is there that you should know. I’ll definitely bring down the frequency of updating facebook and twitter when I get married . So you have to bear with me till then, just a matter of couple of years you see …

ഞാന്‍ ഇപ്പോഴും അവളെ കാണാറുള്ള ആ വഴി വക്കില്‍ കാത്തു നിന്നു. അവളെ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ ഇപ്പോഴും ഒന്ന് രണ്ടു ഹാര്‍ട്ട്‌ ബീറ്റ് മിസ്സ്‌ ആകാറുണ്ട്. ഇന്ന് ഞാന്‍ എങ്ങനെ കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ പ്രേസന്റ്റ് ചെയ്യും അത് പോലെ ഇരിക്കും കാര്യങ്ങളുടെ കിടപ്പ്. എനിക്ക് കാര്യം പറയാന്‍ ആകെ കിട്ടുക രണ്ടു മിനിറ്റ് ആണ്, എലവേറ്റര്‍ പിച്ചുമായി ഒരു ഇന്‍വെസ്റ്ററെ  കാണാന്‍ പോകുന്ന ഫീലിംഗ് ആയിരുന്നു എനിക്ക്. പ്രേസന്റെഷന്‍ കലയില്‍ ഉസ്താദ് ആയ സ്റ്റീവ് ജോബ്സിനെ മനസ്സില്‍ വിചാരിച്ചു ഞാന്‍ അവളെ കാത്തിരുന്നു. എന്തൊക്കെ പറയണം എന്ന് ചിന്തിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നപ്പോള്‍ ആകെ കണ്‍ഫ്യൂഷന്‍, 9:55നു യുനിവേര്‍സിടി എക്സാമിന് കേറാന്‍ പോകുമ്പോള്‍ ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന ഒരു ടൈപ്പ് ടെന്‍ഷന്‍. ഇനി എല്ലാം വരുന്നിടത്ത് വച്ച് കാണാം , അവളും അവളുടെ ഫ്രണ്ടും വരുന്നുണ്ട്.  
ഞാന്‍ അവളുടെ ഫ്രണ്ടിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു. "എക്സ്കുസ് മി, എനിക്ക് ഒരു ഇവളോട്‌ കാര്യം പറയാന്‍ ഉണ്ട് ".

അവള്‍ മുഖത്ത് ഒരു ഭാവഭേധവും ഇല്ലാതെ എന്നെ നോക്കി. ഇത് അവള്‍ പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നോ ആവോ? അവളുടെ ഫ്രണ്ട് മാറി നിന്നു.

"കുറച്ചു കാലം ആയി ഒരു കാര്യം പറയണം എന്ന് വിചാരിക്കാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയിട്ട് ." അവളുടെ കണ്ണുകള്‍ ഒന്നു വിടര്‍ന്നു, അവള്‍ ഒരു ചോദ്യഭാവത്തില്‍ എന്നെ നോക്കി.

ഞാന്‍ അവളുടെ കണ്ണില്‍ നോക്കി പറഞ്ഞു "എനിക്ക് നിന്നെ ഇഷ്ടമാണ്. ഇത് ഒരു ക്യാമ്പസ്‌ പ്രണയം ആയി കൊണ്ട് പോകാന്‍ എനിക്ക് താല്‍പര്യവും  സമയവും ഇല്ല, ഞാന്‍ സീരിയസ് ആണ് . എനിക്ക് ഒന്നു സെറ്റില്‍ ആകാന്‍ കുറച്ചു സമയം വേണം. നിനക്ക് ഇന്റെരെസ്റ്റ്‌ ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ ഞാന്‍ സെറ്റില്‍ ആയാല്‍ എന്റെ അച്ഛനെയും അമ്മയെയും നിന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു  കല്യാണ ആലോചനയും ആയി പറഞ്ഞു വിടാം…" ഇത്രയും പറഞ്ഞു കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ ആണ് എനിക്ക് ശ്വാസം നേരെ വീണത്‌.

ആകെ ഒരു ശ്മശാന മൂകത.

അവള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു "വീട്ടുകാര്‍ പറയുന്ന ആളെ മാത്രമേ ഞാന്‍ കല്യാണം കഴിക്കു…".

"നിനക്ക് ഞാന്‍ കല്യാണ ആലോചനയുമായി വരുന്നതില്‍ ഇന്റെരെസ്റ്റ്‌ ഉണ്ടോ എന്നാ ഞാന്‍ ചോദിച്ചത്, ബാക്കി അവര്‍ തീരുമാനിക്കട്ടെ . സമയം എടുത്തു ആലോചിച്ചിട്ട് പറഞ്ഞ മതി, എനിക്ക് തിരക്കില്ല, പക്ഷെ ഇന്റെരെസ്റ്റ്‌ ഇല്ലെങ്കില്‍ പെട്ടെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ നല്ലത്,എനിക്ക് എന്‍റെ പണി നോക്കി പോകാമല്ലോ… " – ഞാന്‍ നയം വ്യക്തമാക്കി

അവള്‍ ഒന്നു ആലോചിച്ചിട്ട് പറഞ്ഞു  {തുടരും..}

I saw that ad and I loved it, but after seeing Akhil sir’s comment on my post Some Years down the line, i think ഇത് എന്നെ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചു ആണ് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയത്, എന്നെ തന്നെ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചാണ്, എന്നെ മാത്രം ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചാണ്..

നിന്നെ കണി കണ്ടു തുടങ്ങി എന്‍ ദിനം

ഒരുമിച്ചു വരാന്‍ പറ്റിയില്ല, എന്നാലും

പിന്നീട് കാണും എന്ന് വിചാരിച്ചു ഞാന്‍

എല്ലാം ശരി  ആയപ്പോള്‍ അതു കാണാന്‍

നീ മാത്രം ഉണ്ടായില്ലല്ലോ പ്രിയേ…

Every beep of sms reminds me of you

Every ring of phone makes me to talk to you

Every breath in me wants to be with you

It may not be love, I’m just possessive about you…
