I was in Bangalore as a part of my South India Business trip with Gafoor on December 13^th Sunday. I had six meetings in pipeline and two of them got postponed to 14^th December and three of the business leads are not available. So after the first meeting in the afternoon I was totally free. So i decided to meet-up with friends in Bangalore.

Anjai, Anoop, Subeesh, Ajesh, Hridya and Vaishna and couple of more people are here. Anjai went back to kannur this week, so he was not here. I decided to meet Anoop and Subeesh who are staying in Jakkasandra; I loved the area, residential area with lot of… If you know what I mean. It was fun with Anoop’s colleagues there, I love meeting new people and thanks to God for bringing new people to my life everyday. I think I’m meeting Anoop in some 1.5 years. Man time flies like anything, kinda missing college now…

We have decided to meet-up at forum mall in the evening. I called up hridya and asked to come to there. Me, Gafoor, Anoop and Subeesh reached forum and Hridya joined us there. I’m meeting her after a very long time. Glad that she brought Ancy, her room mate too. When we got introduced i thought Ancy was very silent type. But later on I had to change the opinion. I got her alone for sometime and we talked, and that broke the remaining ice between us. i got to know her more; a good friend to be with. Later on Ajesh and Vaishna joined us. Ajesh called Ancy as “Thiruvalla Achayathi…” which is 110% correct. I have my reasons for it… . Thanks to Hridya for introducing her to me…

The problem with being in forum is that you have to refresh your eyes in very short intervals of time …

Something totally unexpected happened in between; Me and Hridya are still in the shock of it…

I wasn’t knowing this day will turn out so touching for me. So i decided to make it special with a treat. We were also planning about re-union for our college friends. Don’t know how many people will turn up. Will think over it soon. As I was in a very hectic schedule i didn’t have  much time to spend. I wished I had some more time to spent. So we just went for the treat. It is always fun with friends, and if you are in between a dynamic gang of friends its N times fun. Loved the dinner at Kairali Hotel. I got some really funny moments to cherish in my entire life…

After finishing my exam on that day i went directly to -dk-‘s home. Its been quite a long time since i visited her home, I wanted to meet her niece avni also. But as she was not there i couldn’t meet her. I reached there around 2:15 PM, also we all are really hungry we decided to have lunch. After seeing the dishes i asked her which one did she prepare, so that i shouldn’t have it. Why to test something with your own stomach??? She and her mom told you try everything and tell.

Oops!!! that was pretty much risky you know, to try something a just cooking learned (just married fixed!!) girl’s culinary expertise. Well as always i decided to take the risk, I had taken enough hotel food for the past years so that nothing will upset my stomach. The lunch was good, I was in a dilemma as i couldn’t figure out which was the item she prepared. Later on i found out every item was prepared by her. Wow, excited to see that a girl who doesn’t know the abcd of cooking few months before prepared awesome lunch like that, lucky Santhosh, her would-be.

The next thing to see was her Wedding invitation, it is nice; Something expected. I had the habit of collecting wedding invitations before; (Strange – I’m crazy about some stuff you know) . Then comes the wedding saree, awesome ones. Waiting to see her in that saree on her wedding. Girls obviously look awesome in saree. See Noopur’s  (My Content Queen) comment here over this. We discussed over the things happened after college and all. It was great. everyone has changed over time, for me change was radical. College life was good. Wishing to meet our gang during her marriage. We spoke about her marriage, life about everything.

Then it was Coffee time, it was good. It was a great experience of sipping a cup of coffee with your best friend and talking about life. I loved it!. I want to have it with someone else soon. Let’s see how things work out.

It was a great afternoon for me, thanks to – dk – for making it special. I wish all the best for her future.

Let me introduce My Movie Pals first, Ann Mary George aka Ance and Manju Narayan, they are my college mates and partners in crime (people who know us will definitely agree to this…). After we became good friends during college we used to go for movies, It was easy to bunk classes during college and to go for movies. It was total fun then. But after college its been pretty long since we had gone for a movie together (More than a year…); Aaargh missed it terribly…

Day I of Weekend Blast

As its difficult to get all of us together in place its was nearly impossible for movies. But as they are in town during last week, we decided to meet and go for a movie. We had plan to watch a movie, but didn’t decide which one we should watch, as usual we decide it in the final moment and just go for it. As we had some backup plans in the pipeline something will definitely work out. Our plan was to go for Mammotty’s  ‘Loud Speaker’. But that plan was dropped in the final moment as it didn’t seem to be worth it. So we decided to go for ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’. Well that move wasn’t that good but we had a blast. It was my treat for them. During movie we understood how much we miss our good old movie times. We were discussing about things happened during college and afterwards.  At the lunch they said they are planning to go for Wake Up Sid the next day; So they asked when am i going back. I just checked my diary for engagements and said I’m in for the movie. As we expect the movie to be good it will be a great movie experience for us.

Day II of Weekend Blast

Day II as per planned it’s Ann’s treat. Ann’s mom is an awesome cook, so we decided to go to her home. I and Manju met up and went to her home together. It was fun gossiping from there. Discussing over various things and copying movies; though the wifi network sucked up. It was awesome. After all these busy work schedules and office stuff, its great to be with friends and have fun.

The lunch was awesome. Should visit Ann’s home regularly. . After lunch we went for Wake Up Sid. As expected it was worth watching. As it was from Thalassery we met some juniors and our friends Shaheen and Jabeer. The noticeable thing was everyone except me put on weight. The movie was funny, something that fits us. We all loved it. a great movie for a greater day. In the theatre i was saying to myself “Life’s good…”.  Also BSNL EV-DO has good range in towns, so was online from theatre too…
