This is a part of my South India Business Trip

On 14th Dec we left Bangalore night. We were in front of Lal  Bagh at 1AM waiting for Salem bus (I still don’t understand why is it Salem instead of Selam), It was freezing like hell…

Finally a bus came and we got in, we where in a mood to sleep, and there was a tamil movie running in both the tvs in the bus. We were planning to sleep and it was freezing out there, and the movie was killing us. We managed sleep somehow. It was a 5 hour trip and we reached Salem at 6 AM. The meeting was supposed to be at 10AM. I called up the client to re-schedule the meeting to some time before so that we could leave for Kerala early. We browsed internet in the salem bus stand for around 1.5 hours and after that he turned up. Thank god and after 30 mins of meeting we got into a train 10 AM to Coimbatore, since we had a connection train at 1:45 PM from there. I wanted to meet Nithya who is working in Coimbatore, but as i had only one hour in coimbatore station couldn’t make it.

The train journey to coimbatore was hell of a crazy. The train was crowded like anything. We wanted to convert our general ticket to sleeper, but there was no vacant seats. But me and Gafoor managed to get seats in the upper berth with the luggage. At first i found the trip suffocating, I was asking to GOD “Why me, why me???”. But after sometime i got the answer. There was a very good looking girl in the lower berth and I was getting ample view from the top. :) Then i was like “Thank you GOD”… Finally we reached coimbatore station around 12:45.

One of the interesting part of being at Coimbatore station was that I found unusually big number of good looking girls in the station, which is totally unexpected for me…

Another thing I saw is the very high bribing by the police men in the station. I wish i could do something with it, may be at a later time, I might be able to do something with it…

The train came at around 1:45 and we got seats. That was a great relief. That ends my South India Business Trip. After these long tiring trip it feels great when you are coming back to home. I’m also excited about Tata Jagriti Yatra 2009 which is going to be the biggest trip ever i have attended. It feels great to interact with more than 400 like minded people from India and foreign countries. Life is a journey for me…

I’m composing this from Veravel express on my way back to Kannur on 18th Dec. I totally utilise train journeys now, reading books or preparing blog posts.

During any train journey if you see a guy typing with the black laptop with earphones put on, it might be me. Just come and say hi ok. I love meeting new people.
