KSEB’s efficiency…

Few days before we had a short circuit at home and the electric meter was on fire. It took some time for us to know that the meter was on time. We were able to put out the fire quickly, but the meter was burned down completely. Without electricity, No Water, No food as induction cooker wont work.  So we just called KSEB office and informed them with the issue. They said they will be arriving shortly. We thought it as the usual response, but the interesting thing was they reached our home within 15 minutes. Holy Cow!!!. And they replaced meter and electivity was up within 30 minutes. We were like what, we expected at least two days without electricity. Hats Off to them…

    Towards end of last month there was a loose contact on the post to which my homes powerline is connected, and finally the cable that connects the meter to the post broke. We went to the KSEB office four times and asked for help, called them 3 times as well, we had to live without power for almost 2 days….tell me about efficiency ;)
